Well said. I have always said that anyone who can kill a good buck in Florida has accomplished something. It took me to the age of 35 to kill a really good one
I've killed deer in 8 states and by far Fl. deer are the toughest to hunt. I'm so sick of yankees saying our deer are like dogs and ain't worth shooting.
the deer here are the deer.. ive noticed that the further you go north the bigger the deer.. i guess because theres more space and better places for them to thrive.
It's survival. Animals adapt to their environment and evolve accordingly. The further north you go the more wieght and fat they need to survive tough winters. I guess.
it is what it is.. i just like deer hunting.. as long as they are legal they are harvestable. Who cares how big they are lol.. I mean i was born and raised up north. and the deer there are fat and huge. But they need to be with like below zero temps. I see the small deer here and its like "ok thats what im hunting" simple! .lol
