I put 5 and my son 1 deer in the freezer last season,of them 3 were bucks killed within 20 minutes from my house. I think I have maybe 6 packages of deer meat left. Usually eat venison once a week,sometimes twice.
Flintlock rifles only in muzzleload season.

I'd love to see Florida's Muzzleloader season go like PA's. The early ML season is just that. Inlines are legal along with the rest. Then there's a late season ML hunt for flintlocks only. Hell, I'd be pleased if it just went "Traditional ML" and even let the percussion guys in too. It'll never happen here though because their just isn't enough traditional ML shooters to push for it.
Why we're at it lets get rid of compound bows,hunt only three days a week,never hunt Sundays.Shorten the rifle season to just one week like they do up north,and while we're still at it,let's get rid of rifles and go to strictly shotguns. Another great idea is the earn-a-buck program. My advice to you would be hunt on private land and you can use your flintlock everyday of the season.
My, my! Aren't we a little pissy this afternoon? I mention how I agree with one state's ML law and you'd think I wanted to move up there.....I already exclusively hunt with flintlocks all year long because I can, and I really don't care about antler restrictions. I'm going to bring deer home for the freezer every year no matter what the rules say.
Personally I dont see any one being pissy. Except for your last post. Just a few guys not wanting any more regulation. Reducing the weapons of choice to more primative styles I believe was Skunkape just joshing around, but not a bad thought. Definately better than restricting the harvest. The only problem I would see with it would be. There would more than likely be more wounded animals roaming around, or lost all together. No need to feel like some one is always pointing a finger at an individual. I just don't see it.
