Keep in mind, the Fl buck registry is only as good as the bucks that actually get registered. There are a TON of monster bucks that never get registered, for one reason or the other. Mostly for the reason, people dont want the public to know where they came from. There was a deer taken last year down by lake O that (if I remember ) was 160". And I know for a fact a "Florida sports figure", who wishes to remain anonymous, killed a deer in the city limits of Tampa that is easily over 150". Those are just two examples. Another example is the double drop tine that skunkape had on cam, that the kid killed next to his honey hole. That is a monster anywhere in the country. Once again, I am not saying Fl is an Iowa, but we can grow decent deer, given age to grow to maturity

ACTUALLY ARE LOT ARE NOT REGISTERD JUST BECASUE IT NOT KNOWN OR NOT SIMPLE Enough. Simple enough is not having to do anything even making a phone call.

Take my friends (127 net) from romp and stomp. He got one that would make registry but if there not calling him hes not taking the time to register it. Me i just dont care its a waste of time.

That's a nice herd you have there reaper, still if you put a tape on them I doubt any of them would score 120". Any given deer in the Midwest has the potential to become a B/C buck. I accept Fl's trophys for what they are, without a doubt the smartest deer in the country, and any decent racked buck is a trophy in my book.

So have we gone from the arguement for/against a 3 point rule in order to see MORE bigger deer to discussing whether or not the same rule would result in "TROPHY" deer?

What is the goal of the 3 point rule? To see more bigger deer? If so I think it's feasible.
Is it to see an across the board increase in "TROPHY" deer? I don't think thats going to work in and of itself.

They are two seperate arguements with different paths of fulfillment, in my opinion.
