just to offer an option. often if I'm in a tree or ground blind I might take off the vest and put it around the trunk of the tree, a few feet above me, so it will not be moving, be easily seen and will let my hunting buddies or other hunters know I am there without spooking ANY game in any way, even during turkey season.
It doesn't matter where I'm at , Georgia ,SC , Florida , Jamaica . Once I get 30-40 feet high my vest comes off . I have it handy to flag someone walking by . I don't need other hunters pin pointing exactly where I'm hunting.
I just assumed he was in Ga. cuz most guys here do. And during that week he posted it wasnt 24 deg. here muchless is south fla were he is from
when you see 24 degrees in SFL I'll go out that day in a G String . This is why most guys don't post anymore . Just tell the guy Congrats and move on . GW aint gonna buy that story. On the ground or 50ft off the ground on a wma in fl. orange is required. If your in Ga. it dont matter if your on public or private its required. It aint your safety it you posted a video of your self breaking a game law. not very smart.lots of people have been getting busted for posting video and pics of there hunting. i do the same thing-i am on private land. just personal safety on the ground. not too many deer 20-30 off the ground. :rolleyes
