usually the amount or wrinkles from the ear to the head is an accurate way to tell age. that deer has 2 wrinkles in the pic between his ear and the head.
Can't say I ever heard that in 30+ years of hunting
Seems if you turn the head to you you would get more wrinkles.

nice buck.
my cousin up in indiana just got his first big buck. i saw pics on his facebook today, its a mainframe 9 with two 1" kickers. he took it with his slug gun. i think hes 16 now, maybe 17.
