GETTING OUT OF A STAND WHEN DEER ARE PRESENT

I guess. I remember that spot we used to hunt allen, those dam deer and hogs would look right up at the stand and walk around the back. Until i sat duane in my stand as a stand in and put my climber on a tree in the back. Swack.. Dirt nap. Lol

So yea your right.

over the years watching deer react to different sounds gave me an education. deer would not budge if they heard a; log truck, dump truck, chain saw, crop duster plane, log skidder, mail truck. deer reacted the most when the whirring of atv tires on a dirt road came closer, then it was mach 3 to the woods. have left the box with deer in the food plot too many times to count did not seem to bother the deer i hunt. they just got a little nervous and sometimes they would walk off sometimes not

I have also noticed that if you bump something while in stand like wood on wood or metal on wood it dont bother them so much,but make a pure metalic sound and all you will see is white flags flyin thru the woods
