I cut back from 35 or so to 15-16 absolute must have bare bones minimum but of better quality.
Me too. Same deal cut back from over 75 to around 50-55... Bare Bones... This includes about 20-25 of my collectable Winchesters pump and semi shotguns, lever rifles and bolt rifles, all pre-64 and some pre-war (WWII) stuff. Have sold alot of stuff in the last year, all of which was good quality to upgraded into more valuable collectable Winchesters.
IMHO, you get to a point where you have all of your bases covered at around 20-25 weapons and anything beyond that is a collection.
Just like women and their shoes you can't have too many guns! Now only if I can convince my wife that.

I would go with the 06 but what do I know, I shoot a 300 wsm at these small bucks.
Any one you can shoot straight.......but just buy em all and use the one you like best!
