please don't hang any of those used fem hyg prod's where I hunt, thank you very much. as for the motor oil I know theres at least one hog cuz my buddy stepped on it and I was there to witness it plus several tracks, some good sized. I think they are very afraid to cross a drainage ditch at least 6' deep, I know I am. plus I've been feeding them since 3/10 and hear her/them grunting all the time when I'm there alone ( I leave a new sweat soaked bandana there each time I go so they will hopefully get used to my scent and associate me with food). my stink corn is crawling with grubs or maggots, don't think it would make very good pie. on the plus side im getting trophy sized raccoons and squirrels. no deer or hogs on trail cam yet, just set it up a couple weeks ago. this is probly not the best hog area, just the only private prop I have access to so I'm making the most of it.
Dang you guys don't need to let it sit that long. If anything they are going to be less likely to want to eat it. A week or two tops is all you need. Or like I said before just pour some molasses and sugar on it and they will find it.
I only use it when I'm actualy there hunting. I will open bucket and throw out a coffeee can full and leave the top off to let the scent drift, and cover it back up when I leave. plus burried some in 2 post holes app 4'deep and whatever has only gotten about 6" deep into it.
wind came up from the South today....whooeeee Sheriff started evacuating here in Ocala.
Trust me,this crap is not gonna stink. It's almost edible for human consumption.I might just put it in a pie shell and bake it.
U not gonna put that in that spot ur promising me next to you in RG r u? :taz
I'll be up there a little Sunday. All you need in that spot is a little corn and you'll get so sick of shooting hogs you may start deer hunting.
