Dang DH, you talkin my language now!!!. My buddy gets me red roe mullet in November for next to nothing. I ate so many last year I thought I would explode
The roe mullet come into the Aucilla and Ecofina rivers alot during cold days and especially the nights (late Nov here) before they spawn by the hundreds of thousands and a cooler full can be caught quick. A castnet is quicker but I ripped my last one to pieces in that river. We hunt during the day and mullet fish at night :rockon

We use to catch blue crabs on the coastal creeks at Hickory Mound and have an awesome crab boil at the camp fire at night. That was a long time ago. Rad,are you for real?Constant disapointment son.
You one of those guys that can't stand to have a bone in your filet? You probably like a poached salmon filet with a $4 carrot and asparagus piece and a $6 water spritzer
J/k bro. I take the mullet and fillet them, but save the back bone and fry that as well. There is a good 1/4" of meat on them. I loves me some fried mullet
I may have to stop at Cross City and get me some fish tommorow night. All you can eat mullet, hushpuppies, and cabbage at the Cypress Inn.
