Any good hunting in the area?

Hello all, I'm new to the boards. I am originally from Pensacola, Fl. Started studying Aerospace Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology (in Melbourne, Fl) last year. Classes went well, but I went through some of the worst hunting withdrawal imaginable. Almost checked myself into one of those rehabs 😉 This year I figured I'd better get some pointers for hunting in this area -- as a repeat of last year would be almost too much. So I was wondering if anyone had experience hunting in the Melbourne area. I have checked out Bull Creek and St. Johns, but could use a couple good pointers. From what I have gathered so far (by scouting this past weekend), Bull Creek looks nice for turkeys and deer -- but by the sign-out sheets it looks like it gets pretty crowded during the season, and St. Johns looks like a great place for duck and boar. I would greatly appreciate any pointers you fellow hunters could give.

Also I am in search for a hunting partner for this area. From my experiences I've learned that it is much safer to have a buddy!
