Never bought a GM in my life. Never will. Years ago my old grey haired Daddy told me if a man was truly proud of the product he builds, he'll put his family name on it. I know who Mr. Ford is. Have no clue who Mr. GM is though.

Wish I could say the same. In my younger (;-p) years, I went with the sheep and had a '57, '63, '64, another 63, another '64- they all burned oil! Finally grew up, went with Fords (with a couple VW bugs thrown in) ever since! Drive an '85 Mustang GT daily now!
GM can say what they want- if they're wearing the name, they're the same company- period.
