no military expert here, but seeing as we are spending millions/billions to sit on ordanence dating back to god knows when. I say if it still goes boom, drop it on someone instead of paying to store and guard it. one Afgani throws a rock and we return with a multi million dollar missile. I'm all for the hi-tech stuff WHEN NEEDED, but spending millions to blow up a mud hut doesn't seem too cost effective. as one speaker said at the RNC we should build up so that nobody would dare mess with us, just use the old stuff first, use what we have a little smarter and rotate the stock as it were.

The amount spent on storage of old munitions is a drop in the bucket in the scheme of things.

We can't just go go dropping old unguided munitions willy nilly on places when we are trying to win an insurgency. There is a higher chance of people besides the one we are trying to kill getting hurt. That leads to more insurgents.

Honestly, we need more boots on the ground in order to win, but the sequestration means the DOD will have to cut almost 100,000 servicemembers if not more.

Our congress SUCKS!. That's all I'll say about that on here.

Oh, almost forgot..... :toast :clap :clown :cheers
