Well this year my buddies and I will be back at it in Northwest Mississippi in late December. We had to take last year off due to the birth of my daughter but this year is shaping up to be a good one again. We will be on family farm of about 1000 acres and we have had some good reports so far. I look forward to this trip every year, not just for the deer but mainly for deer camp. I will post some pics when we get back.
Deer camp is 1/2 the fun. I've got a couple trips a year that a bunch of us meet up to hunt. Don't see most of these guys but a couple times a year so camp is always a blast. That St. Vincent hunt is one of my favorites. Good luck.
Made it back safe and sound from MS just before some real nasty weather hit. I took a big doe and my buddy took an 8 point on his first deer hunting trip. Saw a bunch of spikes, buttons and does running around too. Hunt camp proved to be a great time as usual, can't wait til next year already!
