The Bigfoot Museum just south of Blue Ridge is actually worth the visit...I'm not on one side of the fence or the other but my son LOVES all things strange so we had to stop once on the way to Nantahala. I was surprised. It's not as cheesy as you may think from the looks of it outside. If that's your thing and you are the way to the mountains as so many of us do, check it out.
