Welcome to the forum! You live in one of my favorite parts of the state. I lived in FWB/Mary Esther for about 10 years, first 6 while I was in the USAF at Hurlburt Field. Spent a few weekends out on Crab Island and out fishing the jetties. I'm sure some things have changed a bit since I left about 11 years ago, but that's still a great part of FL (or L.A.!).
We have some guys up in the Panhandle - Pensacola, Panama City. Sure they'll chime in eventually.
Thanks for the shout out Goodoyster, yeah a lot of things have changed but the fishing is great. even with the threat of oil. Crab island still going strong and some topless action too.
Tried dove hunting up here last year, it was OK hard to come by but finally got hooked up, never got quail hunting though. I hear Appalatchacola (sp) has some good fields, just need to find :skeet them..Thanks for the welcome guys! Frank
