Hi All,

I recently relocated to the Vero area from Rhode Island. I used to do a lot of deer and waterfowl hunting up there as well as fresh and saltwater fishing. Looking forward to getting out as soon as the moving dust settles. I became good friends with my landscaper who was a big time hunter. He was going to show me the ropes down here. Unfortunately he passed away just before I got down here, I'm going to miss him, he was a great guy.

I've done quite a bit of deer hunting in Virginia and a bit on a friends lease in SC. I just need to learn the laws and get used to hunting in the heat vs. freezer of New England LOL.

Looking forward to using this site and "talking" to you.

Bren

Welcome to sunny Florida! It'll take some getting use to hunting with shorts and flip flops down here with us southern folks. Just remember! a dumb question is one that isn't asked. Just tuck your chin down and hang on.

Hey Brenakie,
Sending y'all a welcome from LA(lower Alabama-Florida panhandle)! You're not far from any of the outdoor activities you mentioned and sounds like you've got it figured out, fish and hunt in warmer weather. Is there a possibility that your friend that passed had some buddies you might get in touch with to get you started locally?
Good luck to you!
