Grew up in Ohio.Spent every minute in the woods that seemed to stretch forever.Now i realize it was only about a 5 sq mile section.But with the thick woods on steep hills with streams and water falls,It was home. Been in the middle of the city we call Florida for 20 years now,and finally decided to get back in the woods.
this is only my second season huntin.Last year I harvested 2 bobcats a racoon and 2 gators .Thats it .I tried turkey huntin and as nice as he was the WMA laughed till he cried at me.On the flip side he taught be some great lessons.Then I was able to laugh also
Im the guy that goes into the WMA at light and slowly walks around quietly till dark.
I see tons of tracks and game trails.
All ive kicked up ran to fast to shoot....well thats only deer .
I snuck up on the cats n coon and scare the heck outta the deer.Havent kicked up a hog yet either , hungry so Ive spent the last couple weeks talkin with FWC and SWFM to let me use the canal to get into gardner cobbb marsh.Man I need a boat.
Didnt have the money to pay for gator tags this year and last years tags,my first ever were the .LOL no one could believe it..But the guys I meet have taken me with them this year.
I have a Jan 2011 Triple N ranch hog permit if anyone wants to spend a couple days there.Im bicycling the WMA starting this weekend.To scout.
Ill go out as early or as late as needed and ill stay as long as they let me.. :clap
I love been out there but have a world to learn about it,I look forward to each lesson.
