If the Mossberg doesn't work for you and you aren't comfortable with it your need to try a Remington 1100 LT-20 Semi-Automatic in 20 gauge, you can get a variety of different barrels, chokes, etc. mine was passed down from my grandfather which was his last gun he bought new in 77 or 78. He was still shooting it at 74 years old, 5'5" and 130lbs without any problems. It will recoil alot less than the Mossberg or any pump gun for that matter. Nacho has great advise about gun fit and stock length (LOP). Get a gun that fits well and you shoot well, then have it painted whatever color you like.... I still enjoy shooting it and replaced the plain modified choke barrel with a Vent Rib barrel with screw in chokes a few years ago. It's a dream on the sporting clays and skeet field. Does a number on doves also. I think it weighs around 6lbs... Good luck...
