Does anybody fly fish wading or is it mostly by boat?
I'm in Central Florida near the gulf.
There are a few rivers in the area.But I'm wondering why they don't sell any gear
I tried to tell my friend up in Maine that no one fishes from shore

Not many people down here fly fish that much because that have to contend with moccasins and alligators. Also on top of that you need a considerable amount of room to swing a fly rod and a lot of the small creeks around here don't have the space.

Out of the flats in the skinny water, I see people fly fishing for tailing reds or rolling tarpon but they are typically on the front of a skiff
