Can someone refresh me on the correct method for daisy chaining two batteries together for a trolling motor. When I initially bought the boat, all the wiring was in place with two functioning batteries. Over time, one battery died and I continued to use only one battery to run the trolling motor. Now I want to put it back and can not remember the way I disassembled it. Any advice is appreciated, I did find a couple of different methods on the internet but I am not sure which one to use.

hook it up positive to positive, negative to negative this is a parallel connection will give you 12 volts but the current(amps) will increase
