Hey bs, I'm thinking late tomorrow afternoon around 4:30 down at the Venice Inlet, just not sure which side is best. There are stories of mackerel and blues in close over the last couple of weeks, and some pompano are supposed to be working around the inlets and sand bars. Tide is low around 2:20pm, but it's only dropping .2 feet from the high. The incoming high will be at 8:13pm, and it's bringing in 1.2 feet, so the water should be moving good by 4:30pm.
My son is finished for the semester and will be driving home tomorrow from Boca Raton, so if he gets here in time he'll be with me. I plan on just using light tackle (10lb test) and Berkley Gulp shrimp baits.
