They FINALLY broke ground on the new new public boat ramp. This has been many years over due, for a very popular fishing community
During the real estate craze, most of the marina owners cashed out and sold to developers. Then the market crashed, so a lot of those lots are 1/2 built condo's, vacant condo's, or just vacant land

Only places to launch a boat were the only marina left (river Haven) which gets very crowded, or the public ramp which is a nightmare on busy weekends(only 1 slot and 1 dock). Sea Hag marina will only launch you if you are tying up for the night.

I used this little dirt ramp way up river by the house, but last year it got rutted out and they never fixed it. You can not launch or load there anymore on a low tide

Back when the real estate market was humming, we looked at a new condo unit in Horseshoe Beach, have you ever launched out of there for fishing? That area of the coast looks great for trout and reds although we never got a chance to fish it.

This whole coast is the states best flats fishing. I need a smaller boat to fish in tight, If I had about a 14' boat I could have yall on fish in minutes from some of these little dirt ramps up here.
Rocky Creek, Dallus Creek, and Hagen's Cove,to name a few

I just can't put a 20' bay boat in them
