My money would be on a snook. They have razor sharp gills and will cut you off quick.

And on the shirmp note. I read some place that the run from the bay to the gulf is on with strong running tides.

Some people are like Slinkies ... not really good for anything, but you can't help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs.
