I know a lot of ppl dont waste their time fishing for them but I love fishing for them and eating them too!
Anyone else out there enjoy the fish also?
I used to fish for them under the bridges along the intercoastal, its a fun way to fish dropping live fiddlers down next to the pilings. I do most of my fishing in the surf now.
They are fun and I like to use lite line with leader and a short shank live bait hook with crab or shrimp.I have even used a cork but loose a ton of bait that way.
Man, I can not stand those bait stealing punks. I have only ever caught one. And I have tried.
There is an old saying about 'heads that you need to set the hook when you THINK he is gonna bite. One good thing is they are dumb, if you miss one throw a little bait in the water while you re-bait your hook, he will hang around until you get your line back in.
