I just look at the 10 day forecast, 30-60% chance of rain next 10 days. I'm only gonna be around for a week or so, bad news for me =(. Anyone have experiences to share dealing with T-Storms, fishing in between storms, fishing before/after storms etc.?
From what i know, fresh rain water brings oxygen, and with thunderstorms a lot of it! So if my theory is correct, fishing after a storm should be better than usual. :thumbs up:
:thumbs down: freshwater intrusion push fish futher out.Water is hot now so try around and under docks etc.best bet incoming tide or strong outgoing off a point or jetty find a strong current and flat line your bait pinfish, greenbacks or shrimp.Right now is a bad time of year unless you can get way off shore. Watch out for lightining!!
Snook like the warm waters, don't they? I've heard snook are right up in the shallows during the summer months, I could be wrong though.
Yeah it's kind of a bummer for me though... I only get a week or two a year in Florida, and it just so happens thunder storms the whole week. *sniffle*
But I'm sure there's SOME type of fish I can catch... I mean it's the ocean. And what fish doesent enjoy a big fat shrimp?
I'm sure I will get my hands on some snook with the tips good ol' Cr0ck gave me 😉
Of course I like cat fish! I will catch any fish, just tell me how it's done and I'll have the time of my vacation!
Storme will be hit or miss. It's like that this time of year.
