Howdy all,
I recently moved down to Bradenton/Manatee Co from St. Pete this past weekend.
I dont have a boat and have enjoyed being able to wade fish from nearby beaches, and shorelines.
I have noticed that most of what I have seen shorelines are crowded with houses and private property.
Can anyone point me at a good wade fishing spot for some Red/Trout/Snook/Flounder???
I wanna get out this weekend while the wife is up in Ohio at a reunion.
Thanks.

Sorry for being so late with the reply, just saw this post.
If you head out on Manatee Ave (SR64) toward Anna Maria Island, on the east side of the bridge there's some flats on either side you can wade out on. On the island side you can wade out from the park in some places. Then of course, there's the beaches. If you go down towards the south end of Anna Maria Island, to Coquina beach, there's some old docks that can be good at times for snook, sheepshead, pompano, etc.
