Man I hate a thief. Found out a truck 2 doors down from me was broken into Friday Night.
Makes me want to sit outside and :beararms: :gangster: :beararms: :gangster:
About 3 weeks ago we had 25 cars broke into in one night in this area. If I walk out and catch someone they will end up in a box turned to dust.
We used to come down to Cockroach and Piney Point from Lakeland all the time, and a few times up around the power plant in Apollo Beach. Caught a ton of nice reds, a few snook and trout, some snapper out in the channels. It ain't much further down to the Manatee River, and there's good fishing there as well. I just don't know where the ramps are any more that are maintained and where you won't get everything stolen out of your truck while you're out fishing.
I was up in Apollo Beach on Saturday playing golf and saw some snook chasing bait along the mangroves in one of the canals, and a school of reds working a shoreline. Had a hard time concentrating on the golf!
hopefully the 3rd thing it would do is deter others from stealing. yeah, if you put in at bishops harbor, hope you have a jeep with no top or windows to break and no radio to steal, cause your shizz can dissappear in a hurry over there.
