So I went out to my mullet spot to see if they were back. I throw my net and it is heavy loaded with greenbacks and 1 red. it was only about 8-10 inches but real nice looking. I took a pic with my phone but its not real good. I threw it back and casted my net a few more times every time loaded with greenbacks. So I hooked another guy up and ran home to get my pole. Came back one cast and filled my 5gal bait bucket with green backs and went to work. No bites but a huge school of mullet were jumping around about 100 feet of the bridge so they are back but I did not get any.
Good deal.......Keep it up, you'll get them.
Got to love that smoked mullet. :thumbs up:
I took the my son and his friend out for a ride on the skis as we pulled up to an island a nice school darted off. I think I will run there in the morning with a pole and try my luck.
Nice. I'm hoping to get my wife and/or daughter their first red(s) on Friday. Also want to get my wife her first snook on Friday too. I doubt I will get to fish at all with a wife, a nine year old, and a 2.5 year old on the boat. :nono:
