i was looking at the tide chart here by apollo beach and the high tide is at 7:35 am iam thinking if iam in the water by 6:30 with all bait i might be able to catch somthing on the flats on a out going tide or should i try to catch the incoming tide at 5:09 pm or do you think the water might be to hot then

fish 3 hours before the tide time.. to be on the safe side.. fish it from slack, to moving, to high.. this will better your chanches
so be on the water around 5am to high tide
we are going to the sky way fri night to get some pin fish and stop and get a couple dozen jumbo shrimp

well got up at 4 was in the water by 6am started out into the bay and never had a clue what was about to happen got crusing pretty good then all a sudden the boat stoped ( now iam in the bay at 6am) out by the channel took the cover off the motor and the hole dang throttle linkage feel slap off i looked for the bolts and couldnt find them so i had to call and have some one come tow me back in
i think it was a sign for me not to be fishing cause as soon as we got to the ramp the bottom fel out the sky
