Tue. are a better day for me. And as long as I have not been running all night long I get off at 6am and can be free to head out. If I have been running all night I would need to get a nap in. Just ask cr0ck. :lol:. When we went out I was up half the night and ended up having to head home hours before I wanted to.

Most of the places that I go to are public. I use to know of some places but it's been years since I lived and fished the Sarasota or Bradenton area. I have been back to try to hit some of those areas and you can't get to them anymore.
I'm in Sarasota and can be talked into a trip on occasion! I used to know a great spot near Port Manatee for reds, but haven't fished there in years. Also had a couple of good places in the Manatee River for reds, drum and sheepshead. I don't know if any of the spots are worth a flip now, but I know what to look for when hunting new places!
Most of my fishing the last few years has been around Englewood (Lemon Bay, Stump Pass, offshore to about 10 miles, around the bridge to the beach). My dad lives down there and he has the boats.
I'm self-employed and with a few days notice can usually work things out to go whenever the tide and other factors are right.
