Well guys meet up with dsimpson this morning for a little fishing. Had a great time and was great meeting another forum member to wet a line with. I'll get you full report when I get some more time.
OK, I have a little of time on my hands so here is a little more of a report. I met up with dsimpson at the Green bridge in Palmetto. We left there and headed to the Skyway to get our bait. After several throws of the net with no luck ( the curent was ripping ). We headed back the way we came to try netting some pin's off the grass flats. Once we had a couple doz. pin's we headed back to the Skyway to play with the grouper. Total of 3 red and 1 gag went back to grow up (the bigest was maybe 12in.). Then it was off the Fort Desoto to try our luck for redfish. We saw a couple on the flats but we spoked them. So we played around there for a bit with no luck and then headed back to the Palmetto side to hit a couple of spots. First spot we could see some fish but just could get nothing to bite. The next spot was more of the same. So it was of to the last spot with a coulpe of hits but no hookups. So we decided it was tim to head home when we heard HELP HELP. We look over to see a person in the water and what looked to be a boat circling around to get them. But the boat keeped circling right back the other way. So we took offvover to where the guy was floating in the water pulled him onboard and found out the boat going round and round was his and there is no one onboard anymore. dsimpson did a great job getting us next to his boat so he could reach over with a gaff to get the boat to stop. The guy was a bit 😳 but glad we were near by. The only pic I got was of dsimpson and need to get him to give me the OK to post it up. Like I said before it was great meeting dsimpson and look forward to fishing with him agian.

Glad you guys met up, I plan on meeting up with you guys real soon. This weekend sucks, pretty busy with family. This Monday I will be heading to Mexico for work, I wil be gone for 2 weeks... Hopefully we can all meet up real soon...
