i have fished the jetty, im talkin about the bridge though. i fished the bridge a bunch of times before i got married and had kids. i think the bridge might be the only spot i have never been skunked. as i remember there was always bait around and always snook around the bridge. i have caught all kinds of stuff right there. just havent been in YEARS and wondered if it was still a decent spot.

I have never fished the bridge. But I would bet there would by a snooky or two.

you laid up too, john? we did the plumbing on the house that is right next to the bar there on the intercoastal just south of the bridge, i use to not get a lot of work done standing on the upper levels of the house checkin out the fish. i would like to go check that out again. day and night seemed to produce fish.

Is that the bridge going to the south end of Casey Key? Can you fish from the bridge? Looking on Google maps, I see a little island just north of the bridge in the Intracoastal that appears to have a park on the north end. Looks like you turn right after crossing over to Casey Key, then right again to go over a small bridge to the island. From this aerial pic it looks like there are several places to park and fish along the east side of the little island into the Intracoastal. Looks mighty snooky and if those are rocks along the edge, I betcha I can catch reds, trout and sheepshead, too.

I'll have to check it out, maybe tomorrow!

if you go over the bridge by the marina and turn right, there is a small bridge and then some parking, a boat ramp at the other end of the island. fishing the big bridge has done me well in the past. there was always plenty of white bait to be had.
