Went out this morning to try and catch a few whiting for dinner. Grabbed my 2- 9' rods and left my drum rod in the garage. Last 2 trips i could'nt get a nudge on the bigger baits. Turned out that leaving it home was a mistake. It was a mixed bag this morning with nice size spot, whiting, and a few blues. One of the blues got chopped in half on the way in and 2 of the spot were bitten off behind the head. i kept a dozen spot and i'm gonna go back out tonight with the drum rods and see if i can't find whatever was chopping fish in half. I'll post later with the second half of this report.

sounds like some big blues. this happens a lot at Sebastian inlet when the big blues are running.
Just can't get this monkey off my back. Had 2 rods out a few hours and not a nibble. East winds picked up a bit and made it a little rougher than it was this morning. Tide was low . Gave it 3 hours.
