Yep, Thanks, I have spend three very long days at Green Swamp, seeing only squirrels. I have not yet been able to shoot my Slugster or 30-06, hate having virgin hunting gear.
I have a 30-30 that I have had for over 4 years and have put less than a box of round through it and that was only at a target. 😆

Caros, I'm in the same shoes. Been up to Green Swamp a few times and haven't seen anything other than a few Turkey's. It's pretty pressured hunting grounds as everyone states. I walked for hours and covered a pretty good area, but kept stumbling across tree stands which were empty. They made me a little concerned, thankfully I've only gone during the week. I am thinking of checking out a new corner up there, but walking in a bit deeper than I have the last few times. I've also come to realize that unike some places or states, you almost need a tree stand of some sorts cause you sure can't see very far most of the time!!! Let me know if you ever want to get together for a Green Swamp hunt. I'd be more than happy to tromp around the woods up there with ya.
