I've been wanting to take a trip out of town also. I have a place over my fireplace that needs something bad. I saw an ad the other day where a farmer was leasing out his entire farm for $500 per person for three hunters for 4 days. Bows only. Out of state license $190 bucks. It was somewhere around Dawson Springs.
I went on a Elk hunting trip a few years back in Colorado on a private farm. It was $1000 a gun. It was awesome. 5 guys, 5 days, and to monster bulls killed.
Ive looked at some trips in texas, but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg. nor do I have a arm and a leg to spend!
I have a good friend in Kentucky, who has a small outfitting business. He has some great property and his customers take some huge bucks.
He is located in Dawson Springs and has property in Caldwell, Hopkins & Christian counties.
I would love to get a group together for a Bow,Blackpowder or Rifle hunt.
It's about a twelve hour drive from central Florida & the licenses are over the counter & cost around $200.00
