I didn't vote because I really don't know. I don't judge how good I'm doing by what I kill. I had more fun last winter with my 3 boys chasing a squirrel around for about 20 minutes with a couple semi auto 22's. Never cut a hair on it but laughed our asses off while doing it. My son shot his first bayed hog a few weeks ago and I was right there with him,and I had an awesome time deer hunting with him in Mo for a week. I sat with him in his blind one of the last eve's of hunting and we had a 6 pt walk right by us and stopped 30 yards broadside,doing everything I could to grow another point on it to make it legal.He never killed one that time but missed a good'un and seen a few nice bucks.I guess I could say it's going pretty well.I've killed more than enough game in my life to be satisified,now it's all about teaching the young'un and bringing up some new dogs.
best season ever, grant it only 2nd season hunting but shot the doe and have seen lots more deer since I invested in a climber instead of walking around, I also see how getting in the stand before daylight helps seeing more game too. Still dreaming of a nice buck though....
Didn't get to hunt last season at all, and just joined the forum about a year ago, so this season is better just because I get to see what y'all are doing!
If this job hangs in there for me, come next season I'll have the money and vacation time to get into the woods a few times, and with the bow I recently bought I'll have more chances at getting something! :rockon

good to see you got a bow, I had a blast during bow season and it was my first and I miss it already been wanting to just get out an shoot it lately.
I have had a way better season than last year. Last year I only got out a few times and never saw a thing, although it was fun it was discouraging. This year I shot a six point on my second time out and had the opportunity to hunt Chass for the first time. I took my buddy from across the street out to my property the weekend I got the sixer and he has been all about going again, I finally got a buddy that will get in the woods with me. I'll be hunting the entire week after Christmas which I had to work skeleton crew last year. Great season!!! :toast
