Okay, this may sound like a reeeeally dumb question, but what constitutes a trophy hog? I am real interested, but am fearful of.... "lookey there, she is a beauty at 150lb, that'll be $350 please"
LoL I exaggerated a bit with the weight. I am sure it's not that. . But I need to know because $350 isn't in my budget right now
Not a dumb question at all. Firs let me say we want you to kill what you want to kill, we don't want any mistakes either. A trophy hog has had a lot more time to grow so he is generally going to be bigger than your average meat hog. His teeth are the difference. The bottom teeth will be an inch and a half outside the bottom gum line. Most are bigger. Much bigger that a meat hog. Not only do there bottom teeth stand out there top ones do also. There top ones make there gums stick up from the way they grow.
Take a look at this page and you can see some different hogs.
I'm in for march. :bbq
So how many guys we got so far. Can we get a roll call going.
I'm gonna try to make it again with my nephew this time
Dumb question, the freezer is full, but we would like to meet some of the crew. Willston is like 20 min from me. Could Jay and I drop by during a mid day break or be the video staff. I don't have a fancy camera but it works.
