Anybody here from the Florida Keys, I a curious how many of us islanders, make the drive somewhere to go hunting?
I'm just above ya at the end of the turnpike. I make the 9 hour trip up to camp min of every other week. Just got back last night and am heading up to Camp Blanding tomorrow for the weekend. Gonna be back at camp next Thursday. We've got the great fishing down here but we got the short end of the stick when it comes to getting up to some good hunting land that ain't always hot as he77. Where you been hunting at?
I have been hunting in Arcadia for the past 5 or 6 years. We have done pretty well there but its always hot unless you plan it perfectly. I did get to go to Illinois this year which was awesome. Do you hunt in FL or drive to GA?
Just saw this. Lease a place in Georgia. Long drive but a good group of guys at camp and good area for some nice bucks. Had a bad year but got a few nice ones on cam. I've got high hopes for this next year. I don't have turkey rights on the property so it looks like I'll be hitting Big Cypress for the thunder chickens this year.
