Need some advice. I am trying to sell / trade my bow on archerytalk.com. I found somone who wants to trade there Hoyt Alphamax for my XForce SS. Pretty even trade and I want to do it.
Has anyone ever traded bows before? I am a little nervous about sending my bow to him and him never sending me anything. Is there any thing I can do to protect myself or is it just a risk I have to take?
You just have to take his word. For me it would be a hard call to make.
You don't know anything about the bow(has it been dry fired or not).
I would have to do a FTF trade.
I bought two rifles off of GunBroker last spring. I had to send them a check before they'd send me my rifle. I checked them out and they both had good rep's and also talked to them on the phone. Everything went well for me,I think you can get a feel for them on the phone if they are good folks or not.
