I bought some permetherin.10 at tractor supply. it states for livestock only horses, sheep, cattle, goats and swine. I've been mixing about 1/2 oz in 6oz of water and putting it in my off spray btl. not sure about inhaling the vapors though. saving a bundle on shoes since I started growing hooves.

That is way too strong. It says to mix .64OZ /per gallon for treating animals. You will have hooves as well as an oxygen tank and a few skin grafts if you keep spraying yourself with it mixed that strong

I tested it out on crock first, only made him break out a little, didn't bother me, but I will re-dilute as per instructions. at that rate this 8 oz btl will last a lifetime. at first I would only spray the treestand/ground area where I would be sitting. thanks for the warning and don't tell crock you know how he can get at times lol

I have been in pest control and dealing with pesticides for 14 years, and have seen some bad stuff happen from chemical exposure. Hate to see it happen to anyone I know. I used to turn my nose up at protective equipment back in the day, now I refuse to spray unless I have a respirator, long sleeve, and rubber boots on. I have asthma and recurring bronchitis, and I am sure it is from spraying Dursban TC without a respirator years back.
