I was cleaning and putting away guns from this past weekend. My ole 870 wingmaster 16 gauge caught my eye sitting there in the gun safe and she needed a little TLC. I realized she had been neglected and was pretty grimey. I was thinking about that gun this morning and I might try to run a few shells thru it this weekend
So I decided to take the gun apart and do a thorough cleaning and oiling. Well I popped the 2 pins and pulled the trigger mechanism, and the whole thing fell into about 50 pieces. Unfortunately I didn't really see how it came apart so off to the internet I go.
Found an online schematic, and 2 hours later she is ready to go. Turns out the left AND right shell latches were both bent, so I had to do a little gunsmithing 😉
without the net life will end.. lol
