the clip that holds the battery compartment on mine broke also, after only 6 or so uses. sent it back 1/26 and no word so I called them yesterday and they now don't make it any longer. the most powerfull is a 70 lumen vs the 150 the old one had plus none have the blood tracker light combined in it. the rep told me they sent me 2 lamps one with a blood tracker light and the other their most powerfull a 70 lumen. I said, "so now I have to carry 2 lamps and get 1/2 the lumens?", they said if I'm not happy I can keep them and they will refund my money also. wish I had it back. gotta start looking around as some distributors may still have some. it was bulky/heavy and had a wire that snagged on stuff but was very bright. I basicly only use the red light only on the darkest/foggiest of mornings/nights so I don't trip over cows or run into fences. actualy used it more around the house than in the field.

I have zip ties holding mine together. I am not impressed with the blood tracker setting. I tested mine out on a hog last year a buddy shot with his bow. It was past dusk, and I could not see the blood with the blood function. On the flood setting, it was clear as day
