Couple of weeks ago in one of my net surfing moments I bought a couple of these from Sportsman's Guide. They're backordered till July though.

Anyone else ever use this one? I'll feel more comfortable sitting in a chair instead of on a butt pad. I have been known to catch up on my sleep that the previous nights rum didn't allow me to get. :pinch Reviews are good but it's pretty heavy. I've got some block and tackle I can put in the tree to hang it so that shouldn't be a problem. I never liked the idea of hunting out of a loc on but my new place has a few spots where one would work pretty good. Now I need to get some climbing sticks. Any ideas on some good 20' sets for a decent price?

That thing my friend must be the cadillac of loc on stands, damn. I have seen good prices on 20' climbing sticks on Sportsman Guide. I have no problems getting up or down on the offset types but my hunting partner prefers steps on both sides at every interval.

I use these

I bought 2 of them last year and a buddy bought 1. I would highly recommend this stand. I found it was more comfortable than my climber and my ladder stands.
