Just the cheap winchester rifled slugs from walmart. I shoot an 11-87 with a short barrel i think it's about 18" and it groups real well with open sites.

I have an old ithica 37 featherlight I shot winchesters 1650 fps 2/34 ( big as gun will accept) rifled slugs with 1oz. hollow point slughell of a kick. Also the barrel will not accept choke tubes.
Where did youb get the tru balls ?

gander, bass pro all have them and most gun shops but i've never seen them at a walmart though. go to the fedrall sight and look them up or google they they are a cool design slug and and hardly any recoil.
