Past weekend at camp, Friday night was just me and one other guy there. Sitting at the picnic table eating dinner a coon sneaks up by the crap house, under the canopy and jumps up n the picnic table with us sitting there. I grabbed my maglite and knocked him 20 feet back. The sob comes back again. Missed him with my pistol. 30 minutes later he comes back once again. This time he was not so lucky. I had my sons 410 ready and waiting on him
Cr0ck1, you gotta lemme know if that works. We got some a them stealing rat bastiches hitting my tripod. One of em shimmies up one of the legs and then reaches over and...get this...spins the feeder to make the corn fall. And they don't even wait till dark. It really ticks me off. My wife's dad "discouraged" a couple of them by taking out some of their partners with the 22mag, but the turkeys get really disgruntled. I'm waitin for one of the big gobblers to tear into the coons.
