That thing will ring your ears........Trust me. Had a blackhawk years ago and it was loud.

I had a .44 mag same gun, shot it 3 times in a row with no ear protection, seriously almost passed out and could not hear out of my right ear, then had a ringing in that ear for 3 weeks.

I'll keep my Blackhawk with the 7 3/8's" barrel....it ain't as bad to shoot as those stubby ones
