Battery meter was only 15 on the net. What I may do is mount my generator on the trailer and recharge out in the field if I am going to be there awhile. Put a floor mat in, padded the 2 front roof supports to use as rifle supports and bought a rechargeable 3 million candle power spot light to use as a headlight(with bungees) and spotting light, that way it will not take away from my power batteries..gun racks already there, will put a 12GA and my .308 in them.

I need a brush guard but may just get some non gluing protective film or cover for the fiberglass parts of the cart to prevent scratches, any ideas? Also have a trailer hitch but pulling a trailer makes noise, may put a garden cart under the shooting house to use when recovering game or hauling stuff.

To hook the battery meter up, all you have to do is attach a low voltage lead from the positive and negative battery terminals to the meter at the designated connections. If you have the batteries in parallel, then you'll need to get an interrupt switch to toggle between 2 battery banks to get an accurate reading. You also want to make sure the switch is a 3-position (middle off) so that it doesn't cause a parasitic drain on battery. If you have 4 batteries, it's advisable to get 2 meters and 2 switches so you can measure the condition of all of them. Otherwise, you could end up with a single bad battery and not know it until it drained down the others. Always good to have a complete battery shutoff too to prevent any current from leaving the batteries when in storage.

Positive in and negative out should be right. Camoclad sounds good too and looks easy to put on. You're gonna enjoy hunting out of that cart. Instead of a trailer for the cart you may want to get a hitch hauler with an offset bar to raise it high enough. I just picked up a new one at Harbor Freight the other day rated for 500 lbs. I usually use my truck on the lease so I can get in and out quietly but now you've got me thinking about bringing the cart up. :rock_on
