This is what I do to my Moultrie cams. Take 3/16 wire about 5 feet of it and go threw the holes on the back of the cam. Then use some crimps and beat them with a hammer till they are very secure. Don't leave any wire hanging out the end of the sleeve of it will stab you every time you move it. :censored: Here is a pic. I also wright property of F.W.C. on the front. :thumbs up: In hopes it will deter someone from stealing it. And now this one is ready to be placed in the woods.
I've had two stolen
The loggers on my lease got me for one the first year we had the land. That one sucked because I had a solar charger on that one as well as a 4GB card
The last one to get stolen was last summer when hurricane Fay hit. I Put a cheap wildview camera up (on a WMA) at least a half mile from the road. There was no one out there to see me go in or out of the woods, and there were no marked trails going in there. Just on a game trail in the middle of an oak hammock.
I went back the next Friday and it was gone. I went to the HW store and got 2 plain metal signs and wrote some not so nice things on them. Put one where you walk in the woods, and one on the tree that the camera was on. The signs are still there.
If I ever catch someone stealing from me I promise they will need an ambulance and wish that I had killed them. Its not the money,it is the principle :die: :die: :die:
