I would never do that...
Im simply going to return the one that doesn't work, and never did work right for a new one. I mark "DOESNT WORK" on the box so they cant resell it and the store has to return it to mfgr

Done it before.. Matter of fact I just did it with a Remington feeder this year

Ima put my wife in a box and attacha sticky note to her face that says "crazy ass, broken" and get a new one.. hopefully noone will notice. lol

hell yea.. maybee i can make one of work with parts of both of them.. shoot if i fix it ill send it back..

I've had 2 Moultrie cams and both broke within the 1st year. They suck.

mine lasted 3 or 4 years and now junk....................
