Saw some questions on one of the Forums about a muzzleloader barrel for a Mossberg shotgun. It is the cheapest way to have a muzzle loader and shotgun all in one.
Yes, it is a muzzle loader and yes is accepted by all Fish and Wildlife LEA out there as far as I know. FL and GA for sure recognize it as a primative weapon since it uses and functions as a muzzle loading rifle.
I have a bud who is a big Mossberg nut, has about eight of them and he has this barrel and configuration. Works pretty good for a Mossberg. I'm just not a Mossberg fan.
Midway USA sells them for $129.00. See links below. Hope the information helps folks.
Didn't realize they made those. May have to go get a Mossberg just because. "But honey, if I get the new shotgun and another barrel I will save us a couple hundred bucks" 😆 Wonder if it'll sound like such a good idea if I say it instead of her. 😆
Honestly you can buy a decent ML cheap nowadays. I have 2 in line MLs and neither one cost more than $150, and both drive tacks
Having said that, if you have a Mossberg that is a good deal
I had my house broken into a few years back and they got all my guns. I've got something for all seasons now with a little extra. Was just thinking of trying to use the story the ol lady uses on me twice a week. Lol
Man that Avatar cracks me up everytime I see it. 😆
